Scarlet Cord Expands in Kent with New Admissions at Man of Kent Consistory

The growth of Scarlet Cord in Kent continued this week with the admission of two new candidates at the Man of Kent Consistory in Ashford.

With the Provincial Grand Summus, R.Dist.Comp. Phil Clare in attendance, the candidates received an excellent ceremony performed by Dist.Comp. Peter Priedel.

Following the ceremony, the PGS was pleased to present Comp. Don Heppell with his membership certificate and the unit with their MBF Patron collarette and certificate.

Man of Kent Consistory meets three times a year at Ashford, Margate and Sittingbourne preceding the OSM units at these locations, this giving all the OSM member the opportunity to attend a Scarlet Cord meeting.

Kent Scarlet Cord Celebrates 80 Members and Youngest Ever Admission

The Scarlet Cord Province of Kent hit an amazing 2 milestones. 1st - The Province has hit the magic 80 subscribing members as 6 were admitted at Kentish Man Consistory. 2nd - We conferred the 1st Grade on our youngest ever member at a mere 21 years old. With another 22 members in the pipeline we will break the 100 barrier before the end of the year. A huge congratulations and thank you to all the members of the Province for making our target a reality.

The Scarlet Cord Greek Odyssey Continues…The Acropolis Consistory No. 163

It was a bumper day in Athens as the Scarlet Cord Grand Team performed a Preparation Ceremony for 9 Companions followed by the Consecration of the newest Consistory in the Order ‘The Acropolis Consistory No. 163’. A wonderful Oration was given by R.Dist.Comp. Charles Aspinal covering the aspects of the Order and the background to the name of the New Consistory in particular.

Again making the ceremonies extra special was the make up of the teams featuring Companions of all ages and across a number of Counties and Continents. The establishment of the Grecian Pillars of this new Consistory has placed firm roots for the Order here in Greece and we have already been told our services will be required next year when they will form another Consistory in Zante.
