A new Brother joins Ashburton R.A.M.

The Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother David Charles Purdie, joined the Brethren of the Ashburton Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners No. 1038 recently, to witness a wonderful elevation ceremony. The Worshipful Commander, Worshipful Brother Garry Kitchen, and his team performed an excellent ceremony, in which Brother David Wilkinson was elevated to the Ancient and Honourable Fraternity in a wonderful manner.

Following his elevation, the Provincial Grand Master welcomed Brother David into the order and presented him with his Provincial tie, which he stated that he would wear with pride. The Provincial Grand Master was also invited to present the Grand Lodge certificate to Brother Ian Adams, who had recently been elevated into the lodge, showing that this lodge is continuing to go from strength to strength.

A new brother joins Strode Royal Ark Mariners

Very Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, joined the brethren of Strode Royal Ark Mariners No. 1495 to witness an excellent elevation recently. Although the lodge was struggling for numbers that evening due to sickness, some of the visiting brethren helped at short notice, to ensure that the new brother, Brother Andy Russell was welcomed into the Ancient and Honourable Fraternity in such a great way by Worshipful Brother Cyril Whittaker, the Worshipful Commander.

The Deputy Provincial Grand Master then presented a Grand Lodge certificate to Brother Jim Currie, who was elevated at a previous meeting.
