Cheque for £2,000 Presented to Rick Wakeman for LifeLites Children's Charity
The Grand Sovereign, M.Ill.Kt. Graham Flight, G.C.C. accompanied by the Deputy Grand Sovereign, R.Ill. & E.Kt. Peter Hawken, MBE, G.C.C. and Charities Manager, W.Kt. Darren Coleman-Heald met with musical royalty at Freemasons’ Hall in London on behalf of the Grand Sovereign’s Care for Children Fund. He presented non-other than Rick Wakeman with a cheque for £2,000 towards his appeal for the Lifelites charity.
Through the magic of technology, Lifelites gives life-limited and disabled children in hospices, opportunities they wouldn't otherwise have had. They provide specialist entertainment and educational technology packages for young people to learn, play, be creative, control something for themselves and communicate - for as long as it is possible. They do this for 10,000 children at every baby and children's hospices across the British Isles. So, wherever you are, there will be a Lifelites project for children near you.
Once again, the Worthy Knights of the Order have made a significant contribution to helping those less able than themselves. My thanks to you all for your ongoing support to the Grand Sovereign’s Care for Children Fund.
